Zack Zaromatidis will be attending Pace University NYC in the fall for a BFA in Musical Theatre.  He was the recipient of the Dr. B Owl of Excellence in Performing Arts this past spring.  "That night was one of the most memorable nights of my life.  Just to have my name on a plaque with Dr. B’s name on it was well was an incredible honor.  I don’t think anyone can compare to Dr. B, and I was greatly humbled when I received an award that showed any kind of attributes to Dr. B.  I can only hope that I will be half the man that he was.  His presence was like no other.  I will never forget all that he did for me, and for making me feel like I can do anything.  He will always be a hero of mine and he will stay in my heart forever."

Emma Duncliffe will be attending The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio and studying communications to hopefully focus in on advertising and marketing. "I'm going to be entering the Mount Leadership Society Scholars program, a two year community service project, which focuses on benefitting Columbus and the Ohio State community as a whole. I'm going to try to stay involved in intramural softball and other activities I participated in at LHS too. Receiving the Dr.B scholarship meant to much to me because I knew the type of person Dr.B was first hand. He cared about the Lynbrook School District and town as a whole, and applauded every student for their strengths while appreciating their weaknesses. Not many people have the ability to support a body of students the way Dr.B did, and receiving the award meant that I could have the opportunity to carry out his name. Dr. B was one of my role models, and still is, so receiving a scholarship and honor from his family meant the world to me."
